In the CCCTV footage, the four accused can be seen shooting the assailant Raju Theth and fleeing the scene, one of them shooting in the air.

Jaipur: Two people, including a notorious criminal, were shot dead in a gang fight in Rajasthan, police said today.
Reports say that dreaded criminal Raju Theth was shot dead by four people outside his house in broad daylight. Police said the accused shot the victim at 9 am on Piprali Road in Sikar town.

According to a police official, Theth, who sustained three bullet injuries, had a rivalry with another gang in Shekhawati district of the state. In several images captured on CCTV cameras, the four men can be seen shooting Theth on the road and fleeing the scene, one of them jumping into the air to target passers-by and fear witnesses.

Soon after the murder, a person named Rohit Godara, who is from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, claimed to be him on Facebook, saying that Theth’s murder was revenge for Anandpal Singh and Balbir Banuda. Banuda, a militant who belonged to the Anandpal gang, was killed in a gang war in Bikaner jail in July 2014.
The supporters of Theth called for a bandh in Sikar and demanded immediate arrest of the killers.
